The Elizabeth Kelly Foundation

The Elizabeth Kelly Foundation (EKF) is named after Elizabeth Kelly, a devoted and much loved librarian of the original library in Almonte. Established in 1985 to provide financial support to enhance library facilities and programs in Almonte, today the Foundation supports literacy and learning throughout Lanark County.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT

Through its strategy of matching funds, the Foundation provides supplementary financial support to registered charities, including libraries and schools and to non-profits and individuals for innovative programs and initiatives that contribute to life-long learning by advancing literacy, creativity and education for residents in Lanark County.
